Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou goes down on October 28th in the latest boxing/UFC crossover event. ‘The Gypsy King’ will NOT defend his WBC World Heavyweight Title, and will instead fight the former UFC Heavyweight Champion in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia live on TNT Sports Box Office.

Tyson Fury Massive 1/12 Favourite To Defeat Francis Ngannou

Tyson Fury is back in action next month as he heads to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to face former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou. ‘The Gypsy King’ is the 1/12 overriding favourite with UK bookies to defeat Ngannou and hand ‘The Predator’ a defeat on his boxing debut.

This clash has drawn a fair amount of criticism from fans who wanted Fury to take on Oleksandr Usyk, to find out who the undisputed world heavyweight champion was. However, negotiations for that fight broke down, as did a potential Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua clash in a ‘Battle of Britain’.

Now, Fury will instead square off with former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou under professional boxing rules. This of course means that ‘The Gypsy King’ will not defend his WBC World Heavyweight Title against Ngannou on October 28th in Saudi.

For this crossover bout, Fury is the overriding 1/12 betting favourite to defeat the Cameroon-born MMA star. Given the fact he is widely regarded as the best heavyweight boxer in the world and boasts an undefeated record of 33-0-1 (24 KO’s), it comes as no surprise that the Englishman is odds on to beat Ngannou with the best UK bookmakers.

The best UK sports betting sites have Francis Ngannou down as the 7/1 underdog to shock the world and defeat the heavyweight king. Ngannou boasts an MMA record of 17-3 (12 KO’s) and is widely regarded as one of the biggest punchers in the history of MMA.

It is unlikely he can defeat Fury, but he certainly has a punchers chance. The great Mike Tyson is training Ngannou and will be in his corner come fight night. If Ngannou is to knock Fury out, it would go down as one of the biggest shocks in professional boxing history.
