Wolverhampton Wanderers have been in the Premier League since the 2018/19 season, but after just one win from their opening three games it’s not been the best of starts for the Midlands club and after a recent 3-2 away defeat against Crystal Palace, Wolves are now just 3/1 to be relegated.

Wolves Fourth Favourites To Be Relegated From The Premier League

Wolves were the lowest-scoring Premier League side last season but still survived the drop, however, the best football betting sites are thinking they might not be so lucky this term – making them just 3/1 and fourth favourites to be relegated in the 2023/24 campaign.

Wanderers has started the new season having won just one league game from their opening four and the latest of those was a 3-2 away defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace on Sunday.

A win over Everton on 26th August is the sole league win for Wolves this season – meaning they sit in 15th place on just 3 points – with only five sides below them.

With an international break the Midlands side have a week to re-group. However, things don’t get any easier for Wolves as their next league game is a home clash with in-form Liverpool on Saturday 16th September on the 12:30pm lunchtime offering.

New Wolves boss Gary O’Neil Into 12/1 To Be The Next Premier League Manager To Be Sacked

Despite only taking over the Wolves reins in the summer, the poor start to the season has also seen the best football betting sites react to make Gary O’Neil 12/1 to be the next English top-flight manager to get the boot.

That said, O’Neil is still some way off Everton’s Sean Dyche, who is @ 6/4 to leave next, with Sheffield United’ Paul Heckingbottom just behind him in the betting @ 9/2.

Luton Remain The Red-Hot Favourites To Be Relegated

Premier League new-boys, Luton Town remain the big favourites to be returning to the Championship this season @ 1/4, with Sheffield United next best @ 2/5.

Luton are yet to win a game in the top-flight from their opening three, while Sheff United grabbed their first point last Saturday with a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Everton, who are 6/4 to face the drop too.

Burnley are the only other side, along with Luton, who are yet to get a point on the board this season.
