Flutter Hire Cheryl Bosi AS Chief People Officer
The sports gambling and entertaining provider appointed Bosi in the role for the United Kingdom and Ireland section.
Her wealth of experience in corporate and HR roles will work in accordance with the company’s ambitions and Bosi has previously worked in finance-related businesses – including Northern Rock.
Bosi was appointed as a senior HR business partner at Virgin Money in 2012 and worked her way up the ranks to chief of staff.
After impressing at Virgin Money, she then transitioned to Lloyds Banking Group as HR director – before moving to HSBC in 2020.
Bosi worked as the head of HR, picking up vital experience which is said to be the key reason for Flutter’s recent acquisition and she has spoken over the new role.
She said:” I am delighted to join Flutter Entertainment, which she praised as a leading gambling company with an unparalleled portfolio of premium brands.”
FanDuel, Sky Betting & Gaming, Sportsbet and Betfair have been applauded by Bosi for the revolutionary technology and creative prowess.
The new chief people officer has also been vocal about the female employees at flutter and how positive it is that there are so many ‘talented’ people working there.
She said: “Over the past few days, I have been fortunate to come together with 100 of our female global leaders where we listened to some incredible guest speakers and heard inspirational stories from some hugely talented colleagues. Thank you for the warmest welcome.”
Additionally, Flutter has confirmed its plans to transition from London to New York in hopes of taking full advantage of the US market – with the final vote being decided on May 1st.
Listing in NYC should broaden Flutter’s ability to generate profit, after making huge revenue and still suffering continuous financial loss.
