With only four runners in the 1965 Chase, punters seeking Ascot tips and value are forced to look beyond the rematch between Shishkin and Pic D’Orhy. The other co-feature race on Saturday, 25 November is the extended 2m 3f Coral Hurdle (2:05) where THEATRE GLORY is interesting.
Nicky Henderson’s six-year-old Fame And Glory mare is bottom weight here. The yard have won this race four times, something leading betting sites are well aware of, most recently in 2021 with Buzz. Theatre Glory boasts a good record fresh, so 210 days off the track is no problem.
What a performance! 👏
Theatre Glory storms to the Virgin Bet Best Odds Daily Warwick Mares’ Hurdle 🥇

As a dual Listed winner against her own sex, the next step for her is a graded race in open company. Seven Barrows inmates are running really well at major meetings too.
With the UK hurdling division looking pretty weak and so much power concentrated in her stable, Theatre Glory can advertise her claims here. The 3/1 about her with bet365 looks well worth taking here.
Corrigeen Rock Also Among Ascot Tips in Hurst Park Handicap Chase
The big betting race even has a relatively small field of eight declared. Topweight Boothill will be popular on horse racing betting sites on his course record, but Scottish raider CORRIGEEN ROCK is a solid each way alternative in the 2m 1f Hurst Park Handicap Chase (3:15).

Trained by Lucinda Russell, this six-year-old Westerner gelding doesn’t mind long distance travel following wins at Sandown and Kempton. Up 7lb for a winning reappearance at the latter venue, Corrigeen Rock steps up in class.
Patrick Wadge is back aboard taking 3lb off with his claim that partially offsets that rise from the assessor. Corrigeen Rock is an 11/2 chance with William Hill to follow-up on that effort in that race where he gets more than a stone from the favourite.
No Betting Angle in 1965 Chase
The 2m 5f Grade 2 1965 Chase attracts just four runners including Ascot Chase 1-2 Shishkin and Pic D’Orhy. There’s no obvious reason why Paul Nicholls’ runner should reverse form with his February conqueror.
There’s little value in putting Shishkin up at odds-on, so he doesn’t feature among Ascot tips for the card. Remaining runners Minella Drama and Straw Fan Jack have tons to find with the first two in the betting. This is a race to watch for punters.

- Theatre Glory (NAP) in the Coral Hurdle (2:05) @ 3/1 with bet365
- Corrigeen Rock (E/W) in the Hurst Park Handicap Chase (3:15) @ 11/2 with William Hill
