RedAxePlay UK is a sports betting site and online casino that launched in 2021. Owned by ProgressPlay Limited, registered members can access thousands of odds and markets across a wide range of popular events on desktop or mobile.
Our review of RedAxePlay covers all you need to know about the site’s sports selection. We cast an eye over the betting odds, payment methods, and strength of bonuses and promotions at the sportsbook and casino.
The RedAxePlay welcome bonus allows you to claim a £30 free bet when you wager £20 on sports. Although it’s average when compared to other new customer betting offers, it’s still a nice incentive for signing up for an account.
To get this offer right now, you must join the RedAxePlay sportsbook and meet the relevant terms and conditions of the bonus. Although these are pretty straightforward, we still recommend checking them out. As we do when signing up with any of the best UK betting sites.
While conducting our RedAxePlay review, we found that Skrill and Neteller deposits are excluded from this offer. Here are the other t’s and c’s to be aware of.
New UK punters aged 18 or over qualify for the RedAxePlay free bet offer. To claim the £30 free bet, you must place a bet of £20 or more at odds of 1.5 (1/2) or greater. Only the winnings from the RedAxePlay sign up offer are returned – this means you will not receive your stake back.
Furthermore, winnings must be wagered 1x before they can be converted to withdrawable funds. The maximum sum you can convert from the free bet is £200. No RedAxePlay bonus code is necessary for this free bet offer – simply sign up now, deposit, and make your first bet to claim it.
Full terms and conditions of the offer can be accessed from the promotions page on the RedAxePlay UK website.
|Minimum Bet||Qualified Markets||Expiry Date||Minimum Odds||Withdrawable?|
|£10||Real Sports Events||7 Days||1/2 (1.5)||No|
As stated earlier, you must be 18+ to claim the promo. Only punters opening a new account with RedAxePlay can claim this offer. Furthermore, customers who hold or have held accounts with RedAxePlay – or any other ProgressPlay Limited sportsbooks or online casinos – are not entitled to this promotion.
The site insists on providing one RedAxePlay free bet per household/IP address. As with any of the RedAxePlay promotions on offer, behaviours indicating bonus abuse – such as using VPNs to mask your IP address – will result in account closure and funds being withheld.
There are some nice ongoing promotions you can get in addition to the RedAxePlay welcome bonus. The site offers a range of different existing customer offers that are worth a look at. Here are some of our favourite promos we came across in our RedAxePlay review.
Claim a £20 free bet to use on your favourite sports event when you deposit and bet £50 using RedAxePlay promo code “FBM”. Your £20 RedAxePlay free bet is credited to your account when your qualifying bet settles. This promo can be claimed every Monday!
Deposit £10 or more using the promo code “SERVE” to get 10% up to £500 of your deposit losses back when you bet on tennis events. This bonus must be activated through the sports cashier page on the site.
This promotion is a contest with free bet prizes for the top 5 participating players. To get involved, deposit £10 or more with the promo code “SHOOT” and place bets worth at least £50 on football events. Qualifying bets are restricted to single bets, and they cannot be cashed out or returned. The top five punters with the highest wagering amounts can get free bets and bonus bets between £10 and £100.
The RedAxePlay UK Rewards Programme awards points for completing tasks. For example, you can accrue points when you place sports bets, play a new game in the casino, or even claim an offer.
Points can then be redeemed for prizes ranging from free bets, bonus money, cashback deals, and more. The RedAxePlay Rewards Programme is a nice way to get something back when playing at the site.
RedAxePlay bonus codes can be redeemed from inside the cashier page on the site. Simply enter the code of the bonus you want to claim when you are making a deposit. While no code is required for the RedAxePlay sign up offer, many of the ongoing promotions do have them.
We recommend checking the code has been entered correctly before proceeding. The best way to do this is to look for the confirmation message that appears when entered correctly. If in doubt, you can check your account for credited bonuses. Alternatively, you can reach out to RedAxePlay customer support for confirmation that the bonus is valid.
The RedAxePlay sportsbook is packed with odds and markets for over 40 different sports. You can bet on football, tennis, cricket, rugby, and much more. Although it comes with a basic design, the site is designed to accommodate bets on both desktop and mobile.
Football plays a huge role in making RedAxePlay UK what it is. We found odds for major competitions like the Champions League, Premier League, Serie A, Scottish Premiership, and much more. We really liked seeing markets for smaller European, Asian, and American leagues, too.
It’s not all about football, however. You can find odds for cricket, tennis, snooker, darts, boxing, Gaelic football, and more popular sports. There are some lesser-known events in volleyball, table tennis, and even Sumo wrestling.
We were disappointed by the site’s lack of horse racing betting opportunities, however. While you can find meetings to bet on, they are restricted to events in the United States. This means you won’t find UK and Irish races to wager on, which is a shame.
Nevertheless, here are some of the sports you can find odds for at RedAxePlay.
You can toggle through all sports and events via the menu located on the left side of the page. To switch between pre-match and in-play betting events, click on “Live” or “Pre-Match” at the top of the menu.
You can place a wide range of different bets at RedAxePlay. To get a better sense of the odds and value available, we tried singles, trebles, and acca wagers. The odds were average in most cases, but we did find some good value on Ryder Cup prices.
When compared with odds found on some of the big-name sites, RedAxePlay struggled to beat them. They did have better prices for an upcoming Champions League match between Inter and Benfica than some other sites though.
RedAxePlay doesn’t publish a maximum stake limit. We asked customer support about this, and they claimed it was because different markets have different limits. They also let us know that 50p was the minimum you can stake on any sports market.
We did come across something interesting, too – you can request a larger bet limit. To do this, enquire with customer support about their “Superbet” feature. While the agent we spoke to told us that this feature is something you can only request on each bet, it’s worth knowing about if you plan to bet big on system bets, or any other large wagers.
In addition to pre-match bets, RedAxePlay also offers a fully functional live betting feature for in-play markets. Odds and prices for these events are shown first when you enter the sportsbook and cover a wide selection of different sports.
You can bet live on tennis, cricket, US horse racing, and football. In addition to some smaller markets like badminton, there is also a range of eSports to try your luck on. We found markets for Counter-Strike: GO, League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, and more.
Another aspect of the RedAxePlay site we weren’t happy with was the lack of a live streaming feature. If this is the point where you make a decision not to sign up for an account, we recommend plenty of betting sites with live streaming you might want to consider.
RedAxePlay doesn’t offer features like live streaming, Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG), or bet builder. But they do have a few alternative features we found while putting together our review of the site.
The easiest way to reach RedAxePlay customer service is through the site’s live chat function. This is accessible by clicking the speech bubble icon located at the bottom right of the screen. Other than that, you can email support at [email protected].
We couldn’t find a telephone number for customer support. Judging by what we came across when reading RedAxePlay reviews, it appears that the site doesn’t provide one. Other ProgressPlay Limited sportsbooks and casinos don’t provide a number, so we are satisfied that the options above are all there are.
With no social media accounts to reach out to, we were limited to live chat and email. It took us over 24 hours to get an email response, on both attempts, but we were satisfied that our queries were answered. Live chat is available 24/7 and is faster than email if time is of the essence.
There is no RedAxePlay app available to download. You can, however, access the site from your mobile phone or tablet. This means you can place bets on RedAxePlay sports events and markets and play casino games.
We tried the mobile site out on both iPhone and Samsung Galaxy devices. When compared to the desktop version, we noticed little to no difference. The mobile site is optimised to accommodate a smaller screen, which made it easy to complete the RedAxePlay sign up process.
Toggling through the various menus on the sports betting site and casino was seamless. All of the main features available on the desktop site are accessible by mobile, and this applies to instant deposits, the choice of games, and RedAxePlay promotions and bonus offers.
We were satisfied with the mobile version of the RedAxePlay UK site. Give it a try for yourself if you plan to bet by mobile.
There are hundreds of casino games available to play at the RedAxePlay UK casino. You can find video slots, table games like roulette and blackjack, and a solid live dealer product, too. We were happy to find titles from top game providers like Blueprint Gaming, Playtech, Evolution Gaming, NetEnt, and Microgaming on the site. These are brands usually associated with the best online casinos in the UK.
The RedAxePlay casino is split into two main categories – video casino titles and live games. We tried the video titles first, immediately latching on to the popular slot titles available. Three of the slot titles we enjoyed playing most were the Book of Dead, Gonzo’s Quest, and Immortal Romance.
While we were eligible to claim a RedAxePlay new customer bonus of up to £100 + 100 spins, the 50x turnover requirement was too prohibitive. Instead, we deposited real money to try the games out. Ultimately, we found the slots on offer to be of good quality – there were also plenty to sample, which aided our betting experience. More than this, we found slots from smaller developers like Gameburger Studios and Neon Valley Studios.
If slots aren’t your thing, we recommend sampling the other popular games at RedAxePlay UK. We found a plethora of blackjack, baccarat, and roulette games to try. The most enjoyable variants to us were the 3D Blackjack and Baccarat Punto Banco games. Although 100/1 Roulette was also pretty fun.
You can also play several jackpot games like Dragon’s Luck and Rainbow Jackpots Power Lines in this game category. Additionally, we found multiple casual games and scratch card titles from Hacksaw Gaming and more to keep us entertained. The real balance of these games against other titles resonated with us. So much so that we left feeling the casino product was probably stronger than the RedAxePlay sportsbook.
We were impressed with the live dealer games at RedAxePlay. Like most ProgressPlay Limited casinos, there are more than enough games to suit most players. RedAxePlay casino’s live dealer versions of roulette and blackjack are plentiful and the dealers always look happy to be there.
In addition to Quantum Roulette and Baccarat Live, you can find more colourful game show titles. Having met the minimum deposit on bets, we played games like Big Bad Wolf, Buffalo Blitz Live, Crazy Coin Flip, and more. We also liked some of the lesser-known live dealer games like Mega Fire Blaze Roulette and Sic Bo Deluxe.
We found several payment methods available to use while conducting our RedAxePlay review. We had the opportunity to use Visa and Mastercard debit, e-wallets like PayPal and Neteller, bank transfer, Payz, PaySafeCard, and more. Deposits are charge-free unless you are using PayByPhone, which carries a 15% fee on every deposit.
Remember that deposits made by Neteller and Skrill are not eligible for RedAxePlay bonuses and welcome offers. If you are keen to avail of the RedAxePlay sign up offer, ensure to make your first deposit using one of the other payment methods available.
|Deposit Method||Minimum Deposit||Minimum Withdrawal||Withdrawal Processing Time|
|Debit Card||£10||£2.50||1-3 Days|
|Bank Transfer||£20||£25||3-5 Days|
Withdrawals at RedAxePlay are subject to a 1% charge up to £3 but deposits are free. Payments are protected by Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption, which ensures data is obfuscated and unintelligible to hackers or third parties.
The turnaround time on withdrawal requests depends on the payment method chosen, as illustrated in the table in the previous section. Bank transfers can take up to 5 business days which is excessive.
It is also disappointing to see fees on all withdrawal methods, whether you are using Apple Pay or bank transfers. This ultimately makes it difficult to give top marks to the site, even if other areas of our RedAxePlay review warrant a good word.
We found things to like about the RedAxePlay sportsbook and casino. We also came across areas of the site that did not appeal to us. Here’s a quick breakdown of the pros and cons of RedAxePlay UK.
RedAxePlay UK is a good sports betting site and casino. Albeit one that didn’t cough up many surprises. As a ProgressPlay Limited site, we knew what to expect – fees on withdrawals, no UK and Irish horse racing, but a decent overall product.
The user interface is not the greatest to look at and this may affect your betting experience. Readers who understand how we rate bookmakers will know that we value sites that work well, which RedAxePlay does. You can easily bounce from the sportsbook to the casino with little to no trouble. However, certain aspects of the site, such as the RedAxePlay promotions page, were a little untidy.
Much as there are negatives that you should be aware of, RedAxePlay also has positives. The odds and markets are solid and there are some quality promotions on offer, meaning RedAxePlay Casino’s live casino library is not the only standout feature of the site. We recommend trying the site out for yourself to get a true taste of whether it’s right for you or not. Feel free to grab the latest RedAxePlay free bet offer to see what they are all about.
We didn’t find any RedAxePlay no deposit offers for the sportsbook, at the time of writing.
Unfortunately, you cannot live stream football matches at RedAxePlay. You can get live updates and scores on in-play matches, however, by clicking on the Event View tab on the site.
Yes, RedAxePlay has horse racing events to bet on. Unfortunately, RedAxePlay horse racing odds and markets are restricted to races in the United States.
RedAxePlay doesn’t have a telephone number for customer support. If you have any queries regarding your account, feel free to message the team via live online chat or by email at [email protected].
Yes. PayPal is an accepted banking option at RedAxePlay, meaning you can deposit and withdraw using the popular e-wallet.
