Sports You Can Bet on with DAZN Bet UK

DAZN Bet may have their work cut out in matching what the best football sites can offer. Still, what they do provide is more than just decent. The same applies to the horse racing odds, and their coverage of other sports like cricket, tennis, boxing, and MMA.

You can find multiple pre-match and live betting opportunities at the site. This covers more than 30 popular and exotic sports. Here are the options available at your disposal.

Again, football appears to be the big one at DAZN Bet UK. You’ll find opportunities to bet on major competitions including the Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, Champions League, and La Liga. Furthermore, you can also bet on smaller competitions like the Slovenian, Romanian, and even Kazakhstani lower leagues.

We like betting on horses, so were happy to see frequent UK and Irish meetings at DAZN Bet. We were also impressed with their range of US sports like American football, basketball, baseball, and NASCAR racing.

Odds and Value

The odds at DAZN Bet UK are in the upper middle range, for most sports. We priced up a few events against odds on our top boxing sportsbooks and football betting apps, finding DAZN Bet’s prices to be decent. For example, their odds for Katie Taylor’s clash in Dublin were just a tad behind what the bigger bookies were offering.

The same applied to prices for Euro 2024 matches and Formula 1 outrights and race betting. However, when we started to experiment with the markets a little more, we did find some betting value. For example, the handicap betting odds for this weekend’s rugby matches were a little better than the average. And so were the odds for the 2^nd and 3^rd favourite at Kempton’s first race of the day.

Bet Limits

Minimum sports bets at DAZN Bet UK come in at 10p in most cases. This is decent, given many newer sites tend to cap their minimum stakes at 50p or more. If you are working with a smaller bankroll, this may be good news. It also means you can place system bets or cover bets with smaller stakes, which we always like.

There is no set maximum stake at DAZN Bet. Instead, the max you can place on a sports wager is determined by the market and odds. Just keep in mind that there is a daily limit of £500 across the board when depositing, as well as £250,000 withdrawal cap every 24 hours. We came across several DANZ Bet UK reviews that mentioned random restrictions on deposit limits, so this is also something to keep in mind.

This is bordering on the ridiculous, as you would expect there to be something you can stream. But there’s not. We made sure to mention this at the top of our review as a way to warn punters who might assume live streaming was the site’s biggest feature. There may be no live streaming function at DAZN Bet UK but they do offer a few other features worth looking at. Here are a few we found in our review of this bookie.

DAZN Bet Customer Support

DAZN Bet’s customer service options include live chat, an email form, and their Help Centre. There is no telephone number for DAZN Bet at the time of writing. The live chat option can be found in the bottom right of the screen, while the email form opens as soon as you click “Contact Us” from the bottom of the screen.

Our experience of using DAZN Bet live chat was amusing, to say the least. First, we were tasked with getting past a useless chatbot that couldn’t understand our question about football card betting markets. We were then put through to a human operator, who took about six minutes to let us know they were there.

We waited another five minutes after entering our question into the chat box to get a response. Only, the response to our question – which was definitely phrased in English – came back in Spanish. When we noted this with the customer support rep, they subsequently amended it to English.

While DAZN Bet UK’s live chat and customer support function was passable, they can do better.

DAZN Bet Mobile App

You can download Apple and Android versions of the DAZN Bet app. We tried the iPhone version first, where it has a total rating of 2.7 stars from 23 Apple Store reviews. While not being the greatest to look at, it undoubtedly worked well and did what it was supposed to.

We then moved on to the DAZN Bet: Sports and Casino Android version – this had a slightly better rating of 3.1 stars from 20 reviews. Again, this worked well when placing bets and playing casino games. It was also easy to find existing customer promotions and other offers.

Finding sports to bet on in the DAZN Bet app was easy enough. We didn’t struggle to place multiples or cover bets, as some reviews mentioned. Although we put the app down feeling that there are certainly better sports betting apps out there, we thought it was decent enough.

The DAZN Bet casino has decent range of slots and table games to try. You can find over 20 progressive jackpot slots nestled in multiple video versions of blackjack, roulette, and baccarat. We found various table games, slots, and even a few scratchcards to play on the DAZN Bet casino. While not the most comprehensive library out there, we didn’t feel as though it was lacking, by any means. Our favourite games to play were Eye of Horus, Big Bass Bonanza, and Classic Blackjack Multihand. We spent a decent amount of money and time trying the games out, but couldn’t win a thing. Our biggest win in total was £2, which is disappointing from several 50p spins. But we couldn’t knock the quality of slots and table games on offer.

But no live streaming? For one of the world’s largest sports live streaming platforms, that’s woeful. There’s no escaping that. What’s worse, the average punter could blindly sign up for this sportsbook on the reasonable assumption that this would be the least of what the site offers.

If you’re not too bothered about live streaming, you could find things to love. DAZN Bet is still a young site, meaning many of the shortcomings can be rectified if the operator chooses to make an effort.
